Remove your Google Sign-In session and any account-linked data from Siro.

What “account” means in Siro

Siro does not require an account to use. Your usage data is stored locally on your device. The only “account” in Siro is your Google Sign-In session, which is used exclusively for the optional Cloud Backup feature (Siro Pro).

If you have never signed in with Google inside Siro, there is no account to delete.

What gets removed

What is removed

Removing your account disconnects your Google Sign-In session from Siro and stops all automatic backups. Your Siro backup file on Google Drive is also deleted if you choose to remove it (see steps below).

What stays on your device

All your usage records, settings, and history remain on your device after disconnecting Google Sign-In. Uninstalling Siro separately will remove on-device data.

How to delete your account

Step 1 — Disconnect Google Sign-In inside Siro

  1. Open Siro on your Android device.
  2. Tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the Backup section and tap Manage Backup.
  4. Tap Sign Out to disconnect your Google account from Siro.

Step 2 — Delete your backup file from Google Drive (optional)

  1. Open Google Drive on your phone or at drive.google.com.
  2. Tap the menu icon ≡ and go to Settings → Manage Apps.
  3. Find Siro in the list and tap Delete hidden app data.
  4. Confirm deletion. This permanently removes the siro_backup.json file from your Drive.
⚠️ Deleting your backup file from Google Drive is permanent and cannot be undone. Your on-device data will not be affected, but the cloud copy will be gone.

Step 3 — Revoke Google authorization (optional)

  1. Go to your Google Account Permissions page.
  2. Find Siro in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove Access to fully revoke Siro's authorization to your Google Drive.

Delete everything — full removal

To completely remove all Siro data from your device, simply uninstall the app from your Android device. This deletes all locally stored usage records, settings, and preferences.

Combined with Step 2 and Step 3 above, this ensures no data associated with Siro remains anywhere.
